Pros and cons of LikeThat Garden – Flower Identification app for iPhone and iPad

LikeThat Garden – Flower Identification app good for

App does what its nade for. And does it really good. Highly recommended!
Awesome app if you are walking by a plant that you love but dont know what it is! Quick results and fun to use!
Truly tho, so far so good. Found what I was looking for and it didnt cost me a cent. Cant beat that. And the app does a good job at identifying possible matches to chose from.
I see so many flowers on my walks it nice to find out what they are this app is very helpful
Mr. curious, meaning me, is going to find this extremely useful :-) I dont know much about plants or flowers but at least now Ill be able to quickly discover more about botanicals.
Easy to use, great links, very accurate, and fun. Very educational!

Some bad moments

This is an awesome app. Exceptional for namimg that plant you find nice. I was able to to find the name for the many perranuals i have in my garden. But.... The problem is that the app crashes all the time. Works fine on the first picture, finds a match, but wjen you try another plant, the App crashes when you try to take another photo. Got to reload the app, turn off the "auto" mode Nd the try again.... Very annoying behaviour. I use an Iphone 4s.
You provide them with your photo, they present you with others photos and you must choose ID . Helps them, of no use to you. A crowdsourcing scam. They should pay you. Total ripoff . Beware
I took a picture of my hand for fun, and it said meteorite. Being an entomologist, I know that a meteorite is not a type of insect, but a space rock. Absolutely pathetic.
After a short time, the ap will not open, nor can I eliminate it from my iPhone, many errors in plant identification.
I just tried to use this app on some type of an oak tree. I got all impossible matches like an Aloe plant but even worse people in a rock band in almost every search. Disappointing because app used to work well.
The app needs a description option (example: thorns, leaf structure...) so that plants can be more thoroughly identified. And perhaps snapping pics of individual parts such as flowers and leaves. Open Source Editors would help by eliminating false flowers to help overall accuracy. I would also like to see a wiki button to get more information because there is no point in this great app if you can learn from it. And to go an extra mile, add more insects, mushrooms, and birds.
